ORDINANCE NO. 6466
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board
of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective
November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Riclmlond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized
under the Home Rule ProviSIons of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IC (One-family
Residential) to Zone P-l (professional) affecting property located on the
northwest comer of the intersection of Eleventh Street and Hopkins Street; and
for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the l5th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-
family Residential) to Zone P-l (Professional) affecting property
as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northwest corner of
the intersection of Eleventh Street and Hopkins Street;
thence, in a northwesterly direction along the
northeast right-of-way line of Hopkins Street a
distance of 53.25 feet to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 40.0 feet to a
point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance
of 30.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly
direction a distance of 40.0 feet to a point; thence,
in a southeasterly direction a distance of 84.5 feet to
a point located on the northwest right -of -way line of
Eleventh Street; thence, in a southwesterly direction
along the northwest right-of-way line of Eleventh
Street a distance of 80.0 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains .13 acres and is
known under the present numbering system as 1037 and
1039 Eleventh Street. (Tax map 46-4 parcels 400 and
40l) .
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby
repealed March
