An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board
of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective
November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and ReconfIrm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized
under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-
IB (One-family Residential) affecting property located on the east right-of-way
line of Ervay Street, 190 feet south of the southeast comer of the intersection of
Boykin Road and Ervay Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on' the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing

Map from
Residential)
Zone A
affecting
to
Zone R-IB (One-family
property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the east right-of-way
line of Ervay Street, 199 feet south of the southeast
corner of the intersection of Boykin Road and Ervay
Street; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of
700 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 365 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, S 81018'25/1E a distance of
283.53 feet to a point; thence, S 390l8'42/1 W a
distance of 280.65 feet to a point; thence, S 89029'43/1
W a distance of 562.55 feet to a point; thence, N
01042'l9/1 W a distance of 15.02 feet to a point;
thence, S 89030' 02/1 W a distance of 360.47 feet to a
point; thence, S 00038'17/1 E a distance of 35.73 feet
to a point; thence, S 89030'36/1 W a distance of
1,220.48 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly
direction a distance of 610 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of
l,750 feet, more or less, to a point located on the
southeast right-of-way line of Ervay Street; thence, N
78003'20/1 E along the southeast right-of-way line (dead
end) of Ervay Street a distance of 6l feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning. This property
contains 27.68 acres.
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby
repealed March
