An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together
with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized
under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by
changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IC (One-family
Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on
the southeast right-of-way line of Carrie Street, 150 feet, more or less, northeast
of a point where the northeast right-of-way line of Laney-Walker Boulevard
intersects the southeast right-of-way line of Carrie Street; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-
family Residential) B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone affecting
property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Carrie Street,
150 feet, more or less, northeast of a point where the northeast right-of-way line
of Laney-Walker Boulevard intersects the southeast right-of-way line of Carrie
Street; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line
of Carrie Street a distance of 20.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly
direction a distance of 100 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 20.0 feet to a point; thence, III a
northwesterly direction a distance of 100.0 feet to the point of beginning. This
property contains .05 acres and is known under the present numbering as 1132
Carrie Street. (Tax map 46-4 parcel 668)
SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following
stipulation:
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby
repealed 19th
