An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance

adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and
the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983,
entitled
"An
Ordinance
to
Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been
approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the
Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the State of
Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A
(Agriculture) and Zone R-1A (One-family Residential) to Zone B-
1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located
where
the northwest right-of-way line of Hillcreek Drive
intersects the southwest right -of -way line of Augusta
West Parkway i and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the
caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive
Zoning from Zone A (Agriculture) and R-1A (One-family Residential) to Zone
B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located where the northwest right-
of-way line of Hillcreek Drive intersects the southwest
right-of-way line of Augusta West Parkway; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of l,225 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a
distance of l80 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in a northwesterly direction a distance of 230 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly
direction a distance of l,l50 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance
of l60 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of l30 feet, more or
less, to a point located on the southwest right-of-way
line of Augusta West Parkway; thence, in a
southeasterly direction along the southwest right -of-
way line of Augusta West Parkway a distance of 310
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This
property contains approximately II acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 1213 Augusta West
Parkway. (Tax map 30, Part of parcel 56)
SECTION II. This amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject
to the following stipulation:
That the site plan match the concept plan submitted with the
original petition.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
