An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and
the City council' of Augusta effect:i.ve Nove1!1b~r 15, 1983,
entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been
approved by ,either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the
Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the State of
Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-
1C (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business)
affecting property located on the southeast corner of the
intersection of Bennett Lane and D'Antignac Street; and
for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmopd County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the
caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1
(Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the southeait~corner of
the intersection of Bennett Lane and D'Antignac Street;
thence, in an easterly direction along the southwest
right-of-way line of D'Antignac Street a distance of 40
feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southeasterly direction a distance of 62 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction
a distance of 90 feet,' more or less, to a point;
thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 75.0 feet
to a point IO,cated on the southeast right -of -way line
of Bennett Lane; thence, in a southwesterly direction
along the southeast right-of-way line of Bennett Lane a
distance of 44.0 feet to a point; thence, in an
easterly direction a distance of 106.0 feet to a point;
thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 101.0
feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a
distance_ of 110.0 feet to a point located on the
southeast right-of-way line of Bennett Lane; thence, in
a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-
way line Bennett Lane a distance of 255 feet to the
point of beginning. This property consists of five (5)
tax parcels and a total of .39 acres. (Tax Map 46-4
Parcels 239, 240, 248, 249, 250)
SECTION I I .
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
