'. _ ':f'" , ~ -i,,"'- ~ '..,- ~, An Ordinance Zoning Ordinance '': :r~"-1 ."':' f' adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, ~ entitled "An Ordi_nan.ce to Reaqopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council' of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the constitution of \ the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the northeast right -of -way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 40 feet, more of less, southwest of a point where the centerline of Old Waynesboro Road extended intersects the northeast right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning from Zone A (~griculture) to Zone 8-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: I'" i' ...- .1( 'J " '1 ~..,~ I / 'f if Beginning ~t a point located on the no~theast right-of- way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 40 feet, more of less, southwest of a point where the centerline of Old Waynesboro Road extended intersects the northeast right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway; thence, in -an easterly direction along the private drive into Goshen Village a distance of 455 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 31044'23" E a distance of 153.56 feet to a point; thence, S 58015'37" W a distance of 456.26 feet to a point located on the northeast right- of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right -of- way line of Mike Padgett Highway a distance of 340 feet, (more or less, to the point of beginning" This property contains approximately 2.5 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3736 Mike Padgett Highway (part of Tax Map 158 Parcel 6.07) SECTION I I . All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 15th '1r:~th January 'O~h day of , 2002.
