Ordinance
to
amend
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Consti tution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agricultural) and
Zone B-2
(General Business)
to Zone B-2
(General
Business)
affecting property located on the north
right-of-way line of Tobacco Road, 510 feet, more or
less, west of the northwest corner of the intersection
of Windsor Spring Road and Tobacco Road;
and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, lS amended
by
changing
the
Comprehensive .Zoning
Map
from
Zone
A
(Agricultural) and B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General
Business)
affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way
line of Tobacco Road, 510 feet, more or less, west of
, the northwest corner of the intersection of' Windsor
Spring Road and Tobacco Road; thence, in a westerly
direction along the north right-of-way line of Tobacco
Road a distance of 143 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, N 15004'20" E a distance of 230.29 feet to a
point; thence, N 77054'00" W a distance of 195.39 feet
to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance
of 200 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N
61001'48" E a distance of 450 feet, more or'less, to a
point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of
710 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.

This property contains 3.20 acres and is known under
the present numbering system as 2521 Tobacco Road. (Tax
map 141 Parcel 538.5)
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
