the

Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
Comprehensive
Zoning
and
Reconfirm
the
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Constitution of the State
of Georgia" by changing the zoning from Zone A
(Agricultural) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property located on the west right-of-way line of Peach
Orchard Road, 662 feet, more or less, north of 'the
northwest corner of the intersection of Willis Foreman
Road and Peach Orchard Road; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by
Zoning
Map
from
changing
the
Comprehensive
Zone
A
(Agricultural) to Zone B-2 (General Businiess) affecting property
as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the west right-of-way
line of Peach Orchard Road, 662 feet, more or less,
north of the northwest corner of the intersection of
willis Foreman Road and Peach Orchard Road; thence, in
a southwesterly direction a distance of 238.13 feet to
a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a
distance of 172.68 feet to a point; thence, in a
northerly direction - a distance of 85.25 feet to a
point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of
347.54 feet to a point located on the west right-of-way
line of Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a southerly
direction along the west right-of-way line of Peach
Orchard Road a distance of 94.56 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains 1.14 acres and is
known under the present numbering system as 3945 Peach
Orchard Road. (Map 180 Parcel 20)

SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
