HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6443 DEANS BRIDGE RD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENTNAME:O~ ;)CD\- ~L\~ DOCUMENT TYPE: 0'( c\\ '(\(1 (\C:G YEAR: () \ BOX NUMBER: t L\ FILE NUMBER: \Sl~d NUMBER OF PAGES: d ~~ z...-C\-(~ ~ ;- ~ v ,,~~ An Ordinance ORDINANCE NO. to amend the 6443 Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance 'adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agricultural) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the west right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 622 feet, more or less, south of the southwest corner of the intersection of Hephzibah McBean Road and Mike Padget t Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning from Zone A (Agricultural) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the west right-of- way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 622 feet, more or less, south of the southwest corner of the intersection of Hephzibah McBean Road and Mike Padgett Highway; thence, in a southerly direction along the west right- of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway a distance of 328 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 301 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 240 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of. 93 feet, more or less, to a point; thence" in a northerly direction a distance of 50 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 175 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains 1.85 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 5111 Mike Padgett Highway. (Tax map 354 Parcel 8.10) ,,' '7' - .. r~ -;:7 ~- - .~ SECTION II.
