An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County and the City Council of Augusta effective
November 15" 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance
adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners
of Richmond County and the Cit~ Council of Augusta,
/
together with all amendments which have been approved
by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the
Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the State
of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Zone R-IA (One-family Residence) and Zone B-1
(Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property located on the southeast right -of-
way line of Deans Bridge Road, 291 feet, more or less,
southwest of the southwest corner of the intersection
of Deans Bridge Road and Wheeless Road; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Boa,rd of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, lS amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from ,Zone R-IA (One-
family Residence) and B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-
way line of Deans Bridge Road, 291 feet, more or less,
southwest of the southwest corner of the intersection
of Deans Bridge Road and Wheeless Road; thence, in a
southeasterly direction a distance of 260 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction
a distance of 150 feet to a point; thence, in a
northerly direction a distance of 275 feet, more or
less~ to a point located on the southeast right-of-way
line of Deans Bridge Road; thence, in a northeasterly
direction along the- southeast right-of-way line of
Deans Bridge Road a distance of 55.0 feet to the point
of beginning. This property contains .63 acres and is
known under the present numbering system as 3014 Dea~s
Bridge Road. (Tax Map 97-1 Parcel 141)

All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed
