HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6438 DANIEL AVENUE Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: (j~ 800 \-l9L\~ DOCUMENT TYPE: 0'< d \\\or'(~ YEAR: 0 \ BOX NUMBER: \ L\ FILE NUMBER: \ ~ 1 OU NUMBER OF PAGES: cf) .t., -; r;:~_ i' .. r (" .' ....f... .''\ \ ORDINANCE NO. 6438 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963 f by the Board of Commissioners of, Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residence) to Zone LI (Light Indust~y) affecting property located on the north right-of-way of Lumpkin Road, 224 feet, more or less, east of the northeast corner of the intersection of Daniel Avenue and Lumpkin Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One- family Residence) to Zone LI (Light Industry) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way of Lumkin Road, 224 feet, more or less, east of the northeast corner of the intersection of Daniel Avenue and Lumpkin Road; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 210 fe~t, more or less, to a point; thence, inari easterly direction a distance of 280 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 213 feet, more or less, to a, point located on the north right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road; thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road a distance of 319 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains 1.46 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1911 Lumpkin Road. (Tax Map 110-2 Parcel 26) ~ :;--~ . ,. , , ~ . SECTION II. .
