ORDINANCE NO. 6433
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of
Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt
and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25,
1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City
Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been
approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the
City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General
Business) affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of Wrightsboro
Road, 370 feet more or less to the northeast comer of the intersection of Maddox Road
and Wrightsboro Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and
for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted
by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th
day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above,
is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone
B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line ofWrightsboro
Road, 370 feet more or less to the northeast comer of the intersection of
Maddox Road and Wrightsboro Road; thence N 18002'16" W a distance
of 278.78 feet to a point; thence, N 80055'20" E a distance of 467.97 feet
to a point; thence, S 18007'01" E a distance of 279.49 feet to a point
located on the north right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road; thence, S
81000'00" W along the north right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road a
distance of 468.46 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains
approximately 3.0 acres and is known under the present numbering system
as 3883 Wrightsboro Road. (Tax map 39 Parcel 28)
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are
hereby repealed this 20.J:h
