An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfinn
the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, by
amending Section 17, R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) Zone of the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.
THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amended by deleting Section 17-4,
Height, in its entirety:
SECTION II. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amending by adding the following
as the new Section 17-4:
Section 17-4 Height: Maximum height shall not exceed four (4) stories or seventy five
(75) feet, except that the height may be increased as provided for in
Section 29 of this Ordinance.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby
repealed.
