An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond

County and the City Council of Augusta effective
November l5, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
\
Ordinance
adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners
of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta,
together with all amendments which have been approved
by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the
Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State
of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Zone b-l
(Neighborhood Business)
to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property located on the
northwest right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road, 393
feet, more or less, southwest of the northwest corner
of the intersection of Wheeless Road and Deans Bridge
Road; and for the repeal of ordinances In conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the l5th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by
changing
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Map
from
Zone
B-l
(Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-
way line of Deans Bridge Road, 393 feet, .more or less,
southwest of the northwest corner of the intersection
of Wheeless Road and Deans Bridge Road; thence, in a
southwesterly direction along the northwest right -of-
,way line Deans Bridge Road a distance of 8l.5 feet to a
point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance
of 1 7l. 68 feet to a point; thence, in a northeasterly
direction a distance of 73.7l feet to a point; thence,
in a southeasterly direction a distance of l70.76 feet
to the point of beginning. This property contains .31
acres and is known under the present numbering system
as 3015 Deans Bridge Road.

All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
