" ORDINANCE NO. 6427 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November l5, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt "and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County- and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensi ye Zoning Map from Zone R-l (One-family Residence) to Zone B-l (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Davis Road, 433 feet, more or less, southwest of the southeast corner of the intersection of Toucan Road and Davis Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the l5th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-l (One-family Residence) to Zone B-l (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of- way line of Davis Road, 433 feet, more or less, southwest of the southeast corner of the intersection of Toucan Road and Davis Road; thence, in a northeasterly direct~on a distance of 940 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of l80 feet, more or less, to a point; thenc~, in a southwest~rry direction a distance of 770 feet, more or less, to a point; thence in a northwesterly direction a distance of 453 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right-of- way line of Davis Road; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Davis Road a distance of 300 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains 8 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 214 Davis Road. ...- -.c-:; " ;;-, , . SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed 16th day October of 2001.
