An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County and the City Council of Augusta effective
November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt
and . Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance
adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners

of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta,
together with all amendments which have been approved
by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the
Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State
of Georgia" by changing the, Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Zone B-1
(Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property located where the
southwest right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road intersects
with the southeast right-of-way line of Deans Bridge
Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by, changing
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Map
from
Zone
B-1
(Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located where the southwest right-
of-way line of Lumpkin Road intersects with the
southeast right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road;
thence, S 55012' 20" E along the southwest right -of -way
line of Lumpkin Road a distance of 246.34 feet to a
point; thence, S ~9021'29" W a distance of 247.55 feet
to a point; thence, N 39025'09" W a distance of 100.40
feet to a point; thence, N 28027'19" E a distance of
85.67 feet to a point; thence, N 33001'20" W a distance
of 214.88 feet tq a point located on the southeast
right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road; thence, N
62016'27" E along the southeast right-of-way line of
Deans Bridge Road a distance of 66 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning. This property contains .90
acres and is known under the present numbering system
as 3102 Deans Bridge Road.
