An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by
the Board of Commissioners of Riclunond County and the City Council of
Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt
and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25,
1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Riclunond County and the City
Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been
approved by either the Board of Conunissioners ofRiclunond County or the
City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Zone P-l (professional) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) affecting property located on a point located on the northwest
comer of the intersection of Lumpkin Circle and Lumpkin Road; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted
by tr.e Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th
day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above,
is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone
P-1
(Professional)
to Zone B-1
(Neighborhood Business)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northwest comer of the intersection of
Lumpkin Circle and Lumpkin Road; thence in a westerly direction 'along
the north right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road a distance of 120.0 feet to a
point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 137.9 feet to a point;
thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 129,2 feet to a point
located on the northwest right-of-way line of Lumpkin Circle; thence, in a
southerly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of Lumpkin
Circle a distance of 96.8 feet to the point of beginning. This property
contains .32 acres and is known under the present numbering system as
2335 Lumpkin Road.
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict
with
this
Ordinance
are
hereby
repealed
this
