ORDINANCE NO. 6404
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of
Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt
and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25,
1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City
Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been
approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the
City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Zone P-l (professional) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) affecting property located on a point located on the east right-of-
way line of Druid Park Avenue, 123.0 feet south of the southeast comer
of the intersection of Parnell Street and Druid Park Avenue; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RlCHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAlNS:
SECTION I.
That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted
by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th
day Jf November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above,
is a':nended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone
P-1
(Professional)
to Zone B-1
(Neighborhood Business)
affe~ting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located on the east right-of-way line of Druid Park
Avenue, 123.0 feet south of the southeast corner of the intersection of
Parnell Street and Druid Park A venue; thence, in an easterly direction a
distance of 140.0 feet to a point located on the west right-of-way line of an
unnamed Alley; thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-of-
way line of an unnamed Alley a distance of 120.0 feet to a point; thence,
in a westerly direction a distance of 140.0 feet to a point located on the
east right-of-way line of Druid Park Avenue; thence, in a northerly
direction along the east right-of-way line of Druid Park Avenue a distance
of 120.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .38 acres
and is known under the present numbering system as 1108 Druid Park
A venue.
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict
with
this
Ordinance
are
hereby
repealed
