An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of
Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt
and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25,
1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City
Council of Augusta, by amending Section 11, R-IC (One-family
Residential) Zone of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.
THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amended by deleting the
following from Section 11, R-lC (One-family Residential) Zone:
Section 11-2 Special Exceptions: The following Special Exceptions shall apply
in an R-l C Zone and may be permitted upon approval of location
by the Augusta-Richmond County Planning Commission:
(a) Single-family attached dwellings and condominiums
developed in accordance with Section 13 provided that the
density of dwellings shall not exceed seven (7) units per
acre.
SECTION II. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amending by adding the
following to Section 11, R-l C (One-family Residential) Zone:
Section 11-2 Special Exceptions: The following may be permitted in an R-1 C
Zone by Special Exception:
(b) Single-family attached dwellings and condominiums
developed in accordance with Section 13 provided that the
density of dwellings shall not exceed seven (7) units per
acre.

SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are
hereby repealed.
