An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by
the Board of Conm1issioners of Richmond County and the City Council of
Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt
and Reconfinn the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25,
1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City
Council of Augusta, by amending Section 14, R-MH (Manufacture Home
Residential) Zone of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.
THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amended by deleting the
following from Section 14, R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential) Zone:
Section 14-3 Area: The minimum lot area for residential structures other than
manufactured homes and for manufactured homes on individual
lots shall be 6,000 square feet. Every lot in an R-MH
(Manufactured Home Residential) Zone where an individual
sewage disposal system is to be used shall have a minimum lot
area of 20,000 square feet. The minimum lot area for
Manufactured Home parks shall be as required in Section 27 of
this Ordinance.
SECTION II. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amending by adding the
following to Section 14, R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential) Zone:
Section 14-3 Area: Every lot in an R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential)
Zone where public sewer is to be used shall be 6,000 square feet.
Every lot in an R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential) Zone
where an individual sewage disposal system is to be used shall be
developed in accordance with the provisions of the Groundwater
Recharge Area Protection Ordinance. The minimum lot (space)
area for manufactured home parks shall also be developed in
accordance with the provisions of the Groundwater Recharge Area
Protection Ordinance.

SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are
hereby repealed.
