THE AUGUST A COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amended by deleting the following from Section 12, R-1D (One-family Residential) Zone: Section 12-3 (c) Setbacks: Rear Yard: The rear yard provisions of Sections 8 through 11 of this Ordinance shall apply to the R-ID Zone. When a rear yard abuts a zone described in Sections 8 through 11 of this Ordinance, no structure may be constructed within twenty-five (25) feet of that zone boundary. If a six (6) foot brick or stucco wall is constructed along the entire rear property line adjacent to a zone described in Sections 8 through 11 of this Ordinance, the minimum setback shall be fifteen (15) feet. Section 12-4 Building Height: No building or structure shall be constructed in an R-1D Zone to exceed a height of two and a half (2 Y2) stories or forty-two (42) feet. SECTION II. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amending by adding the following to Section 12, R-ID (One-family Residential) Zone: Section 12-3 (c) Setbacks: Rear Yard: The rear setback shall be the greater of twenty-five (25) feet or twenty (20) percent of the depth of the lot, but such yard need not exceed fifty (50) feet. .. . , .. ~ Section 12-4 Building Height: No building or structure shall be constructed in an R- ID Zone to exceed a height of two and a half (2 Y2) stories or forty-five (45) feet. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 1st day of May , 2001.
