ORDINANCE 6376
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of
Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt
and Reconfilm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25,
1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City
Council of Augusta, by amending Section 3, Area and Setback
Requirements of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance.
THE AUGUST A COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amended by deleting the
following from Section 3, Area and Setback Requirements:
Section 3-12 (a) Nearer than forty (40) feet from the right-of-way line on
either side of Fifteenth Street from Wrightsboro Road to
Milledgeville Road.
(b) Nearer than sixty (60) feet from the right-of-way line on
either side of Old Savannah Road (Georgia Highway #56) from a
point 790 feet north of Spirit Creek to the Richmond County Line.
(f) Nearer than forty-five (45) feet from the right-of-way line
of Jackson Road/Walton Way ExtensionIPleasant Home Road
from Wrightsboro Road to the intersection of Davis Road and
Pleasant Home Road.
SECTION II. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance is amending by adding the
following to Section 3, Area and Setback Requirements:
Section 3-12 (a) Nearer than forty (40) feet from the right-of-way line on
either side of Fifteenth Street from Wrightsboro Road to Martin
Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
(b) DELETED.

(f) Nearer than forty-five (45) feet from the right-of-way line
of Jackson Road/Walton Way Extension from Wrightsboro Road
to the intersection of Davis Road and Pleasant Horne Road.
SECTION m. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are
hereby repealed.
