ORDINANCE NO. 6372
An Ordinance to amend Chapter 8-4 of the Augusta-Richmond County Code
entitled "Trees" by amending Section 8-4-12 to provide for the preservation of
existing trees on sites subject to the minimum standards of the Tree Ordinance.
THE AUGUSTA C01vfMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 8-4, "Trees", is amended by adding a second paragraph to
the language of Section 8-4-12 as follows:
Existing trees or other landscape features as delineated on previously approved
Site Plans and subsequently installed to conform with the minimum standards of this
Ordinance may not be removed or altered without prior approval of the Tree
Commission.
