ORDINANCE NO.
An Ordinance to amend Chapter 8-4 of the Augusta-Richmond County Code
entitled "Trees" by amending Section 8-4-11-(e)-(6)-(a) to provide for
clarification of handicapped parking spaces in counting consecutive parking
spaces.
THE AUGUSTA COM:MISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 8-4, "Trees", is amended by adding a second paragraph to
the language of Section 8-4-11-(e)-(6)-(a) as follows:
For the purposes of calculating consecutive parking spaces, handicapped parking
spaces shall equal one and one-half (1-l/2) parking spaces.
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are
hereby repealed.
