ORDINANCE NO. 6370
An Ordinance to amend Chapter 8-4 of the Augusta-Richmond COW1ty Code
entitled "Trees" by amending Section 8-4-13 to provide for a document that will
be signed prior to the release of the Landscape Establishment Bond Certifying
that the owner will not remove required trees from the site or reduce the canopy
of required trees without prior approval of the Tree Commission.
THE AUGUSTA COMMlSSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 8-4, "Trees", is amended by adding a second paragraph to
the language of Section 8-4-13 as follows:
Before release of the Landscape Establishment Bond, documentation shall be
signed by the Owner certifying that the required trees located on the site will not be
removed nor shall the canopy of required trees be reduced without prior approval of the
Tree Commission.
