ORDINANCE NO. 6361
An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of
Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt
and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25,
1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City
Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been
approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the
City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive
Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residential) to Zone R-3C
(Multiple- family Residential) affecting property located on the southwest
comer of the intersection of Linden Street and Roulette Lane; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted
by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th
day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above,
is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone
R-2 (Two-family Residential) to Zone R-3C (Multiple-family
Residential) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southwest comer of the intersection of Linden Street and
Roulette Lane; thence in a southerly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of
Linden Street a distance of 400.00 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance
of300.00 feet to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Hunter Street; thence,
in a northerly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Hunter Street a distance of

400.00 feet to a point located on the southeast comer of the intersection of Roulette Lane
and Hunter Street; thence, in an easterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of
Roulette Lane a distance of300.00 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains
2.75 acres containing nineteen (19) tax parcels.
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are
hereby repealed 20th
