(11); ~UGus.'I~ GEORGIA 309lU ORDINANCE NO.6360 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IC (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the northeast comer of the intersection of Laney- Walker Boulevard and Summer Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family Residential) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northeast comer of the intersection of Laney- Walker Boulevard and Summer Street; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 163 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 162 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 15 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in '-. c an easterly direction a distance of 172 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Eighth Street; thence, in a southerly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of Eighth Street a distance of 178 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northwest comer of the intersection of Eighth Street and Laney-Walker Boulevard; thence, in a westerly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Laney-Walker Boulevard a distance of 337 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property consists of fourteen (14) tax parcels totaling 1.21 acres. SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed 70th day MRrrh of2001. APPROVED THIS March 20th ,2001.
