ORDINANCE NO. 6352 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of conul1issioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1 (One-family Residence) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the east right-of-way line of Davis Road, 320 feet, more or less, north of the northeast comer of the intersection of Toucan Road and Davis Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-l (One-family Residence) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: . . ,;.- Beginning at a point located on the east right-of-way line of Davis Road, 320 feet, more or less, north of the northeast comer of the intersection of Toucan Road and Davis Road; thence, in a northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of Davis Road a distance of 200 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 208 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 200 feet, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of206 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 1.0 acre and is known under the present numbering system as 148 and 150 Davis Road. SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed / t" .77J' day D-~~ tI of2001. ,2001.
