AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AUGUSTA-
RICHMOND COUNTY CODE SECTION 6-2-67(c) SO
AS TO INCREASE AND ESTABLISH ALCOHOL
LICENSE FEES; TO AMEND AUGUSTA-RICHMOND
COUNTY CODE SECTION 6-2-77(a)(S) SO AS TO
ESTABLISH A LICENSE FEE FOR SINGLE
EVENTS; TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE AUGUST A-RICHMOND COUNTY
COMMISSION AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE AUTHORITY OF SAME, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Augusta-Richmond County Code Section 6-2-67(b) is hereby
amended to increase and establish alcohol license fees by deleting in its entirety, and substituting
in lieu thereofthe following, to wit:
(b) Amount. Each applicant shall pay a license fee as set out herein:
(1) Class A: Consumption on premises beer $550
(2) Class B: Retail beer $550
(3) Class C: Consumption on premises wine $550
(4) Class D: Retail wine $550
(5) Class E: Consumption on premises liquor $2,750
(6) Class F: Retail liquor $2,750
(7) Class G: Brewer, Manufacturer of Malt $550

Section 2.
Augusta-Richmond County Code Section 6-2-77(a)(S) is hereby
anlended to increase the regulatory fee for single event alcohol licenses by deleting said section
in its entirety, and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
(5) Date due,' fee. The application for a license hereunder shall be
made at least one (1) month prior to the date of the scheduled event and in
sufficient time to allow for advertisement, as required herein. A regulatory
fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) per day of the event shall be paid by certified
check, cashier's check or money order made payable to the Augusta-
Richmond County Commission.
Section 3.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
Section 4.
If any section, provision, or clause of any part of this Ordinance shall
be declared invalid or unconstitutional, or if the provisions of any part of this Ordinance as applied
to any particular situation or set of circumstances shall be declared invalid or unconstitutional, such
individuality shall not be construed to affect portions of this Ordinance not so held to be invalid, or

the application of this Ordinance to other circumstances not so held to be invalid. It is hereby
declared as the intent that this Ordinance would have been adopted had such invalid portion not been
included herein.
Section S.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are
hereby repealed.
