HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6340 WHEELER RD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: O,...CXJ:X)-19~:J-\O DOCUMENTTYPE:(){c\\~t~ YEAR: CD BOX NUMBER: \ \ FILE NUMBER: \ SOL ~ NUMBER OF PAGES: cP .~ ... .A -, , ORDINANCE NO. 6340 An Ordinance to anlend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agricultural) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the south right-of-way line of Wheeler Road, 165.68 feet west ofthe southwest comer ofthe intersection of Roy Street and Wheeler Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other pmposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agricultural) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-way line of Wheeler Road, 165.68 feet west ofthe southwest comer ofthe intersection of Roy Street and Wheeler Road; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 79.22 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 70 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 100.00 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 190.00 feet to a point; thence, in ,. I;. 1. .:. a northerly direction a distance of 189 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Wheeler Road; thence, in an easterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Wheeler Road a distance of260.00 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .94 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3730 Wheeler Road. SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed /9 t:7 day {tl~ of2000.
