An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by . the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agricultural) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the west right-of-way line of Flowing Wells Road, 320 feet, more or less, north of the northwest corner ofthe intersection of Wrightsboro Road and Flowing Wells Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agricultural) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Begimung at a point located on the west right-of-way line of Flowing Wells Road, 320 feet, more or less, north of the northwest comer of the intersection of Wrightsboro Road and Flowing Wells Road; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 100.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 50.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to - .' . ...;- a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to a point located on the west right-of-way line of Flowing Wells Road; thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-of-way line of Flowing Wells Road a distance of 300 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .86 acres and is a portion of 1425 Flowing Wells Road. SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulations: 1. The only commercial business operating on the property will be medical equipment repair. 2. Should the business cease to operate the zoning will revert to its original A (Agricultural) zone. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed .~ /9 day jp~ of 2000. APPROVED THIS / -a fJ.
