A resolution by the Augusta-Richmond County Planning Commission recommending that the
Subdivision Regulations be amended as follows:
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS OF AUGUSTA,
GEORGIA, ADOPTED BY THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION ON MARCH 18, 1997
BY PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO BE INCLUDED ON THE
FINAL PLAT.
THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. That the Ordinance regulating the subdivision of land in Augusta, Georgia, is
amended by deleting the following existing section:
Section 307. Final Plat - Information to be Included:
SECTION IT. That the Ordinance regulating the subdivision of land in Augusta, Georgia, is
amended by adding the following new section:
Section 307. Final Plat - Information to be Included: All requirements of the Georgia
Plat Act and :
SECTION III. That the Ordinance regulating the subdivision of land in Augusta, Georgia, is
amended by deleting the following existing section:
Section 307 (E) Proposed divisions to be created including right-of-way widths with
name of street, roadway widths, proposed utility installations, lot lines with dimensions,
sites reserved or dedicated for public uses, and sites for other principal uses.
SECTION IV. That the Ordinance regulating the subdivision of land in Augusta, Georgia, is
amended by adding the following new section:
Section 307 (E) Proposed divisions to be created including right-of-way widths with
name of street, roadway widths, proposed utility installations, lot lines with bearings and
dimensions, acreage of each lot, sites reserved or dedicated for public uses, and sites for
other principal uses.
SECTION V. That the Ordinance regulating the subdivision of land in Augusta, Georgia, is
amended by adding the following new section:
Section 307 (U) Location and delineation of wetlands that are shown on the National
Wetland Inventory Maps and subject to permitting by the U S Army Corps of Engineers
under St'~tion 404 of the Clean Water Act of 1977.

SECTION VI. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby
repealed.
