Ordinance
to
amend
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta
effective November 15 J 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive
Zoning Map
f rom Zone
B-2
(General
Business)
to Zone P-l
(Professional)
affecting
property located on the northeast right-of-way line of
Stevens Creek Road, 970 feet, more or less, southeast
of a point where the southeast right -of -way line of
River Watch Parkway intersects the northeast right-of-
way line of Stevens Creek Road;
and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General
Business)
to Zone P-l
(Professional)
affecting property as
follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-
way line of Stevens Creek Road, 970 feet, more or less,
southeast of a point where the southeast right -of -way
line of River Watch Parkway intersects the northeast
right-of-way line of Stevens Creek Road; thence, N
42044'14" E a distance of 349.99 feet to a point;
thence, S 31045'24" E a distance of 230.22 feet to a
point; thence, N 88011'00" W a distance of 122.80 feet
to a point; thence, S 29048'00" W a distance of 195.00
feet to a point located on the northeast right -of -way
line of Sevens Creek Road; thence, N 53012'00" Walong
the northeast right-of-way line of Stevens Creek Road a

distance of 173.63 feet to the point of beginning.
This property contains 1.17' acres and is known under
the present numbering system as 930 Stevens Creek Road.
SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
