Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
Zoning
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
and
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property located on the
northwest corner of the intersection of Olive Road and
Gordon Highway i and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing

from
the
Zone
(Neighborhood Business) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-
2 (General Business) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northwest corner of
the intersection of Olive Road and Gordon HighwaYi
thence, in a southwesterly direction along the
northwest right-of-way line of Gordon Highway a
distance of 336 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
N 23048'47" W a distance of 265.56 feet to a point
located on the southeast right-of-way line of Barnes
Road; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the
southeast right -of -way line of Barnes Road a distance
of 423 feet, more or less, to a point located where the
southwest right -of -way line of Olive Road intersects
the southeast right-of-way line of Barnes Road; thence,
in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-
of-way line of Olive Road a distance of 258 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning. This property
contains approximately 2.3 acres and is known under the
present numbering system as 1500 Gordon Highway.

SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
