HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6314 GUN CLUB RD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0- dJ.:D - 193 \ L\ DOCUMENT TYPE: t) '(6 \ \\OOc.e YEAR: CD BOX NUMBER: \ \ F~E NUMBER: \~ \ NUMBER OF PAGES: q.1 ~ ~.' ! e' ~ "; ORDINANCE NO. /1114 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone HI (Heavy Industry) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Gun Club Road, 31 feet, more or less, north of a point where the northwest right-of-way line of Interstate 20 intersects the southeast right-of-way line of Gun Club Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone HI (Heavy Industry) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of- way line of Gun Club Road, 31 feet, more or less, north of a point where the northwest right-of-way line of Interstate 20 intersects the southeast right-of-way line of Gun Club Road; thence, in a northerly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Gun Club Road a distance of 375 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 860 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Interstate 20; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right-of- way line of Interstate 20 a distance of 600 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 443 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following condition: That the use of the property be limited to truck cleaning, repair and storage and those uses allowed in a LI (Light Industry) zone. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 17rh day of October , 2000.
