ORDINANCE NO. 6313 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone LI (Light Industry) affecting property located on the southwest right-of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway, 1,100 feet, more or less, southeast of a point where the southeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road Extension intersects the southwest right-of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone LI (Light Industry) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of- way line of Doug Barnard Parkway, 1,100 feet, more or less, southeast of a point where the southeast right- of -way line of Lumpkin Road Extension intersects the southwest right-of -way line of Doug Barnard Parkway; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway a distance of 1,220 feet, more or less, to a point located where the west right-of-way line of Brooks Drive intersects the southwest right-of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway; thence, in a southerly direction along the west right-of-way line of Brooks Drive a distance of 616 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 87040'51" W a distance of 2,018.78 feet to a point; thence, N 02008' 00" W a distance of 395.80 feet to a point; thence, N 37019'16" E a distance of 423.80 feet to a point; thence, S 40032'15" E a distance of 356.70 feet to a point; thence, N 37019'15" E a distance of .- ~ . . . ... . '4.:::. 776.00 feet to a point; thence, N 49027'47" E a distance of 540.18 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 44.8 acres. SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 17th day of Ol"'t"nnpr , 2000.
