HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6312 WRIGHTSBORO RD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0 - dOD:) - Ut~ \~ DOCUMENTTYPE:()~~\~rlCf: YEAR: DO BOX NUMBER: \ \ F~ENUMBER: \L\9qq NUMBER OF PAGES: c{J ~ -~ ...- i ORDINANCE NO. 6312 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road, 160.0 feet west of the southwest corner of the intersection of Merry Street and Wrightsboro Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road, 160.0 feet west of the southwest corner of the intersection of Merry Street and Wrightsboro Road; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 80.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to a point located on the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road; thence, in an easterly direction along the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road a distance of 80.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .28 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1808 Wrightsboro Road. .. <: ~.. i c":" SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following conditions: 1. That there shall be no improvement of the front yard for parking; and 2. That the site plan showing adequate vehicYe parking in the rear yard allowing a forward exist be approved prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for a non-residential use of this property. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 17th day of October , 2000.
