An Ordinance
to
amend
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissiqners of
Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners. of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under. the Home Rule provisions of the
Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone R-1B (One-family Residence) affecting property
located
on
the
northwest
right-of-way
line
of
Winterville Drive, 93 feet, more or less, south of the
southwest corner of the intersection of Culverton Drive
and Winterville Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances
in confllct herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone R-IB (One-family Residence) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Winterville
Drive, 93 feet, more or less, south of the southwest corner of the intersection of
Culverton Drive and Winterville Drive; thence, S 88059'57" E along the south
right-of-way line of Winterville Drive (Dead End) a distance of 50.0 feet to a
point; thence, S 88059'57"E a distance of 198 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, S 16048'34" W a distance of 291.41 feet to a point; thence, S 35022'20"
E a distance of 1,374.53'feetto a point; thence, S 54037'44" W a distance of
241.08 feet to a point; thence, N 44036' 15" W a distance of 40.95 feet to a point;
thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 1,926 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, N 15041'54" W a distance of 134.11 feet to a point; thence, S 74018'06"
W a distance of 30.0 feet to a point; thence, N 15041 '54" W a distance of 246.30
feet to a point; thence, N 00036'55" W a distance of 481.03 feet to a point;
thence, N 54023'44" Ea distance of 553.17 feet to a point; thence, N 31017'15"
W a distance of 499.68 feet to a point;. thence, N 01000'34" E a distance of
243.93 feet to a point; thence, S 88059'57" E a distance of 1,102 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 62.35 acres.

SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map
Is subject to the following stipulation:
That there shall be no access to Asbury Hill Subdivision.
SECTION III.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ord~nance are hereby repealed.
