DOCUMENT TYPE:D r d /' Yi #Vfl ( -e YEAR:O/)O 0 BOX NUMBER: / [) FILE NUMBER JLI q I [) c9 NUMBER OF PAGES: rJ~ ..~ I ,..4 '. {~~_./-;" ..0- j" ORDINANCE NO. 6296 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the northeast right-of-way line of Jack Kelly Road, 2,180 feet, more or less, north of the northeast corner of the intersection of Tobacco Road and Jack Kelly Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:. SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of- way line of Jack Kelly Roadl 2,180 feet, more or less, north of the northeast corner of the intersection of Tobacco Road and Jack Kelly Road; thence in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of- way line of Jack Kelly Road a distance of 100.00 feet to a point; thencel in a northeasterly direction a distance of 217.58 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 100.00 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 217.58 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains ,38 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3564-A Jack Kelly Road. ,~ '>;. ~ ,."; :J!f:" .. 1(. iT~ i' ~ .- .~ SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: That the only commercial use of this property shall be a day care center i and that at such time as this use shall cease, the zoning shall revert to Zone A (Agriculture) . SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this August 15th day of , 2000.
