ORDINANCE TO PROCEED WITH DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF THE
STRUCTURES ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2432 - 2432 Y2 PORTER STREET,
602 JEFFERSON DRIVE 1130 TWIGGS STREET, 1706 NORRIS LANE, 906
SEVENTH AVENUE, AND 2327 KNOX AVENUE.
TO REPEAL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION
AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE AUTHORITY OF SAME AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. That the following residential properties have been identified by the Director
of the Augusta - Richmond County License and Inspection Department as unfit for
human habitation (or unfit for its current commercial or business use) and the cost of
repair, alteration or improvement of each of said properties exceeds one-half the value of
each property and that the said Director shall cause the structures located on hereinafter
described properties to be demolished and removed; and that said Director shall cause
the costs of such removal and demolition for each respective property be entered upon the
lien docket maintained in the office of Clerk of Augusta - Richmond County
Commission and said Director shall otherwise_ proceed to effectuate the purpose of
O.C.G.A. SS 41-2-7 through 41-2-17 with respect to said properties, to-wit:
2432 - 2432 Y2 PORTER STREET, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on
Augusta - Richmond County Tax Map 34-1 as parcel 356.
602 JEFFERSON DRIVE, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta
- Richmond County Tax Map 33-2 as Parcel 52.
1130 TWIGGS STREET, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta-
Richmond County Tax Map 60-1 as Parcel 38.
1706 NORRIS LANE, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta-
Richmond County Tax Map 59-3 as Parcel 430.
906 SEVENTH A VENUE, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on
Augusta- Richmond County Tax Map 72-4 as Parce1269.
2327 KNOX A VENUE, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on
Augusta- Richmond County Tax Map 99-1 as Parcel 42,
Section II. This Ordinance shall become effective upon adoption.
Section III. That all Ordinances an~ parts of ord~es in conflict herewith are hereby
