"-'qrdinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25/ 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Consti tution of the' State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1 (One-family Residence) to Zone' R-1A (One-family Residence) affecting property located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Milledge Road and Wal ton Way; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on. the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1 (One-family Residence) to Zone R-1A (One-family Residence) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Milledge Road and Walton Way; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way 'line of Walton Way a distance of 270.6 feet to a point; thence/ in a southwesterly direction a distance of 155.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 277.5 feet to a point located on th~ southeast right-of-way line of Milledge Road; thenCe,. in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way 'line of Milledge Road a distance of 150.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains ..95 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 912 Milledge Road. .~~, ~ .- , :- ;;-... ,. .' SECTION I I . That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulations: 1. That this property be subdivided for no more than three (3) lots; and 2. That a maximum, of one shared driveway per street be allowed at a point to be determined by the City's Traffic Engineer. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this ?n~h day of T111 y , 2000.
