HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6284 C S DR Augusta Richmond GA DOcUMENTNAME: Ordinance - Loa <64 DOCUMENT TYPE:. 0 r d ;nl1nce YEAR: aODO BOX NUMBER: 10 FILE NUMBER: )L/ ~~(c d NUMBER OF PAGES: .' i". i..". ~ :-J. ~ ': T ;'~ ORDINANCE NO. 6284 An Ordinance to . amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as 'authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1B (One-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the east right-of-way line of C & S Drive, 171.62 feet south of the southeast corner of the intersection of Wrightsboro Road and C & S Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of- Richmond County on the 15th day of November/ 1983, the _caption of which is set out above, is amended . by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1B (One- family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the east right-of-way line of C & S Drive, 171.62 feet south of the southeast corner of the intersection of Wrightsboro Road and C & S Drive; thence, in an easterly direction a _distance of 119.7 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of.. 130.05 . feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a dist~nce ,of 125.84 feet to a point located on the east right-of-way line of C & S Drive; thence/ in a northerly direction along the east right- of-way line of C & S Drive a distance of 130.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .37 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1508 C & S Drive, , . - .... r-' r '.. T''' c - ..~~ SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: In the event that this property is redeveloped requiring a Site Plan, the new development would conform to the Augusta Tree Ordinance. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open. Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 20th , day of July , 2000.
