AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AUGUSTA-RICHMOND
COUNTY CODE ~ 7-1-9(C) SO AS TO PROVIDE A CHARGE
FOR TEMPORARY SIGN PERMIT AND INSPECTION TO
PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE; TO REPEAL
CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY
COMMISSION, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE AUTHORITY OF SAME AS
FOLLO"'S:
Section 1. The Augusta-Richmond County Code, Section 7-1-90(c), is hereby
amended by adding a subparagraph 9 as follows:
(9)
The fee for a temporary sign permit shall be twenty-five
dollars ($25.00). The fee for the inspection required by
Augusta's ordinances regulating temporary signs shall be
fifteen dollars ($15.00).

Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon adoption.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinarice are
hereby repealed.
