HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6277 GORDON HIGHWAY Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0 y d rnCtf1Ce - {flJ3/7/} DOCUMENT TYPE: Ord intLhce YEAR: aOOO BOX NUMBER: I D FILE NUMBER: I Lj ~ ~D NUMBER OF PAGES: ~ r, ,_." .-:~~ .~ --" " :-- " ORDINANCE NO. n?77 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residence) affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of Gordon Highway, 6,793 feet, more or lessl west of a point where the north right-of-way line of Gordon Hi'3hway intersects with the northwest right-of-way line of Old Gordon Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the 'Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of Novembe:t:", 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by chanqing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residence) affecting property as follows: Be9inning at a point located on the north right -of -way line of Gordon Highway, 6,793 feet, more or less, west of a point where the north right-of-way line of Gordon Hiqhway intersects with the northwest right-of-way .line of Old Gordon Highway; thencel in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Gordon Highway a di:3tance of 2,213 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 00057'31" W a distance of 1,598.23 feet to a point; thence, N 54043'01" E a distance of 663.66 feet to a point; thence, N 02009'15" E a distance of 11 '705.90 feet to a point located on the centerline of Butler Creek; thence, in an easterly direction along the centerline of Butler Creek a distance of 1,473 feetl more or less, to a point; thence, S 03028'38" E a di:3tance of 3 1996.23 feet to the point of beginning.
