FILE NUMBER: NUMBER OF PAGES: t .. .; ,. -~ , ORDINANCE NO. 6273 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta '- effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 19631 by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta 1 together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensi ve Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the east right-of-way line of Jimmie Dyess Parkway 1 2/156 feetl more or lessl north of the northeast corner of the intersection of Gordon Highway and Jimmie Dyess Parkway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUG1JSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of NovembeJ~1 19831 the caption of which is set out above, is amended by chanqing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beqinning at a point located on the east right-of-way line of Jimmie Dyess Parkway 1 2/156 feetl more or lessl north of the northeast corner of the intersection of Gordon Highway and Jimmie Dyess Parkway; thence 1 in a northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of Jimmie Dyess Parkway a distance of 3/861.43 feet to a point; thence 1 in a southeasterly direction a distance of 1/202 feetl more or less, to. a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 781 feetl more or le:3s, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 695 feet, more or less, to a point; thencel N 72050' 21" E a distance of 670.18 feet to a point; thencel S 70007'26" E a distance of 206.92 feet to a point; thence 1 _ S 00032 133" E a distance of 618.94 feet to a point; thence 1 S 06032' 50" E a distance of 605.22 feet to a point; thencel S 78013'37" W a di:3tance of 846.38 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 53.10 acres. ,. . .. SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
