An
Ordinance
to
amend
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the
Constitution of the State of Georgia II by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family
Residence) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property located where the southeast right-of-way line
of Old Savannah Road intersects with the southwest
right-of-way line of Norton Road; and for the repeal of

ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November-, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-
family Residence)
to Zone B-2
(General Business)
affecting
property as follows:
Be'3inning at a point located where the southeast right-
of-way line of Old Savannah Road intersects with the
southwest right-of-way line of Norton Roadj thence, in
a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-
way line of Norton Road a distance of 150.0 feet to a
pointj thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance
of 150.0 feet to a point located on the northeast
ri'3ht-of-way line of Victoria Drive; thence, in a
northwesterly direction along the northeast right -of-
way line of Victoria Drive a distance of 150.0 feet to
a point located where the northeast right-of-way line
of Victoria Drive intersects with the southeast right-
of-way line of Old Savannah Roadj thence, in a
northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-
way line of Old Savannah Road a distance of 150.0 feet
to the point of beginning. This property contains .52
acres and is known under the present numbering system
as 2294-2298 Old Savannah Road.

SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with t~is Ordinance are hereby repealed.
