effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
Comprehensive
Zoning
and
Reconfirm
the
Ordinance adopted .March 25, 1963,- by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
. of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
. been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the
Consti tution of the State of Georgia II by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-lA (One-family
Residence)

to
affecting property located on the southeast corner of
the intersection of Milledgeville Road and Murphey
Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:

~~E AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Co~prehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-lA (One-
family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting
p~operty as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southeast corner of
the intersection of Milledgeville Road and Murphey
Road; thence, S 88057'56" E along the south right-of-
way line of Milledgeville Road a distance of 240.57.
feet to a point; thence, S 01039' 29" W a distance of
334.96 feet to a point; thence, N 86022'44" W a
distance of 165.72 feet to a point; thence, In a
northerly direction a distance of 169.94 feet to a
point; thence, N 76048'41" W a distance of 140.04 feet
to a point located. on -the east right-of-way line of
Murphey Road; thence,' N 13049' 02" E along the east
right-of-way line of Murphey Road a distance of 135.16
feet to the point of beginning. This property contains
1.49 acres.

SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
