An
Ordinance
to
amend
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond. County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which, have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Consti tution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
. Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone R-l
(One-family Residence)
affecting property
located on the northwest right-of-way line of Lakeside
Drive, 1,320 feet, more or less, northeast of a point.
where the north right-of-way line of Tobacco Road
intersects with the northwest right-of-way line of
Lakeside Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, lS amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone R-l (One-family Residence) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-
way line of Lakeside Drive, 1,320 feet, more or less,.
northeast of a point where the north right-of-way line
of Tobacco Road intersects with the northwest right-of-
way line of Lakeside Drive; thence, N 55059'41" W a
distance of 183.62 feet to a point; thence, S 33038'00"
W a distance of 170 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, N 56025'41" W a distance of 507.67 feet to a
point; thence, N 36023'55" E a distance of 304.90 feet
to a point; thence, S 77029'20" E a distance of 428.49
feet to a point; thence, S 79041'24" E a distance of
101.56 feet to a point; thence, S. 33038'00" W a
distance of 290.24" feet to a point; thence, S 55059'41"
E a distance of 183.78 feet to a point located on the
northwest right-of-way line of Lakeside Drive; thence,
S 34"00'19" W along the northwest right-of-way line of
Lakeside Drive a distance of 25.00 feet to the point

of beginning. This property contains 4.68 acres and is
known under the present numbering system as 2034

SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
