An
Ordinance
to
amend
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled lIAn Ordinance to
Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted March ,25, 1963, by the - Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta,' together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Constitution of the State of Georgia 11 by changing the
Comprehensiye Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) and
Zone B-2
(General Business)
to Zone B-2
(General
Business) affecting property located on the northeast
right-of-way line of Tobacco Road, 500 feet, more or
less,
northwest
of
the
northwest
corner
of
the
intersection of Morgan Road and Tobacco Road; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
B,oard of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a poirit located on the northeast right-of-
way line of Tobacco Road, 500 feet, more or less,
northwest of the northwest corner - of the intersection
of Morgan Road and Tobacco Road; thence, in a
northwesterly direction' along the northeast right -of-
way line of Tobacco Road a distance of 648.98 feet to a
point; thence,. in a northeasterly direction a distance
of 676.70 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly
direction a distance of 287.11 feet to a point; thence,
in an-easterly direction a distance of 142.93 feet to"a
point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance qf
549.58 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly
direction a distance of. 51.65 feet to a point; thence,
in a southwesterly direction a distance of 185.0 feet
to the point of beginning. This property contains 8.65
acres.

SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
