ORDINANCE N09257 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the. Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on a Bearing N 06011 143 II E and being 430 feet, more or less, east of the southeast corner of the intersection of Mack Lane and Tobacco Road, and also being, 100 feet south of the south right-of-way line of Tobacco Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive ~oning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of whiCh is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point.located on a Bearing N 06011143" E and being 430 feet, more or less, east of the southeast corner of the intersection of Mack Lane and Tobacco Road, and also being, 100 feet south of the south right-of-way line of Tobacco Road; thence, S 83041109" E a distance of 125.00 feet to a point; thence, S 06011'4311 W a distance of 476.08 feet to a point; thence, N 82032'46" W a distance of 581.52 feet to a point located on the east right-of-way line of Mack Lane; thence, N 07035'24" E along the east right-of-way line of Mack Lane a distance of 174.81 feet to a point; thence, S 83041'09" E a distance of -452.12 feet to a. point; thence, N 06011143" E a distance of 289.68 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains 3.18 acres. l~ . -::::;:' 17".... f:" ,.~: -; ;- . SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the fol16wing stipulation: 1. The only B-2 use shall be mini-warehouses; and 2. No access to Mack Lane from the property and a ten foot street yard buffer consistent. with the Tree Ordinance side yard requirements. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict -vvith this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this April lqth day of , 2000.
